[02/05/2008] CVP has moved

In the end of March 2008 CVP moved to new locations at Drottningholmsvägen at Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Our new neighbours are two units within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, parts of the Probation and Parole office in Stockholm and the new Regional Research and Development unit.

The move is coherent with the increased concentration on research and development within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. Several of CVP’s co-workers will be employed both at the regional research unit and academically connected to CVP and the Karolinska Institutet (KI).

 - This move opens up for exciting new research opportunities for CVP, says Niklas Långström, CVP’s head. He continues: Among other things we will expand our work within Evidence-Based Interventions and assist the Swedish Prison and Probation Service with evaluating treatment program and the reduction of recidivism. We will also develop the psychiatric epidemiological research conducted in collaboration with the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at KI.

CVP’s new visiting address is Drottningholmsvägen 22, level 5. Click here for more detailed contact information.
