18/11/2005 SBU-report about risk assessment in psychiatry

During the spring and summer of 2005 co-workers at CVP together with the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care (Swedish: Statens Beredning för Medicinsk Utvärdering [SBU]) have participated in a project about methods for predicting violence in the community by psychiatric patients. In 2004, SBU was commissioned by the Swedish Government to prepare a knowledge basis of risk assessment in psychiatry. The project was to be implemented in collaboration with the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare and other authorities concerned.

The work resulted in a report, published at SBU in October, 2005. You can download the report in Swedish from the SBU webpage here [pdf] or read the English abstract here [pdf].
