| Newly held courses offered
by CVP include:
- Risk assessment for psychologists and consulting doctors
working within the National Board of Institutional Care.
In this course, the participants are trained to assess and communicate
risk of violence in antisocial youth. The course was first held
in 2003 and the next occasion will be held during the autumn of
2004. With start in 2004 this course will also be held with case
managers from the Social Services.
- Forensic risk assessment for officers and decision-makers
in the prison and probation service ('HB course'). This
course, in collaboration with the Swedish Prison and Probation
Service, has now been held a total of four times. For this course,
CVP has also developed a decision tool known as BERIT for the
prison and probation service.
- Forensic risk assessment for psychologists and doctors
in the prison and probation service ('Expert course').
We still regularly hold so-called KVIDA days (skills maintenance
follow-up days) in this area. These have been held since the spring
of 2002.
- CVP has also collaborated on training
with the county councils of Östergötland and Dalarna
and the Sävik AB treatment centre, and has collaborative
projects with Stockholm University and Mälardalen University.
